About Me

I am a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, qualified since 2002, with over 20 years of experience working both within the NHS and independently. I provide assessment and therapy for a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties, supporting children from 18 months to 11 years of age.

Over the years, I have worked across a variety of settings, including community clinics, nurseries, language resource provisions, mainstream schools and specialist schools. This breadth of experience allows me to adapt my approach to meet the individual needs of each child and family. My aim is always to make therapy engaging, practical and achievable within everyday routines, often within the comfort of your own home or educational setting.

I have a particular interest in supporting children with language delay and developmental language disorders, as well as speech sound difficulties, including phonological disorders and motor speech challenges.

I am passionate about helping children develop confidence in their

communication and supporting families to feel empowered in helping their child succeed. Building strong relationships with children and parents is central to my work, as this is often the key to meaningful progress.
