I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2002 and have worked both for the NHS and independently for over 20 years. I offer assessment and treatment for a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties. I have worked in a variety of settings including community clinics, nurseries, language centres, mainstream schools and special schools with children ranging in age from 18 months to 11 years. I have a particular interest in language delay/ disorder and speech (phonological) difficulties. I provide assessment and specifically tailored treatment within your own home.
I live in Farnborough, Hampshire and work within a ten mile radius of my address. I can travel further but there maybe an extra charge for travel.
Who can I help?
I can offer assessment and treatment for a range of difficulties:-
- Delayed/ disordered phonology (unclear speech)
- Dyspraxia/ Childhood Apraxia of Speech
- Children who are slow to talk or link words together
- Difficulties with grammar and word order
- Difficulties with vocabulary and word-finding
- Difficulties understanding language
- Difficulties answering questions
- Attention and listening difficulties
- Communication difficulties associated with Autism, Aspergers Syndrome, ADHD or moderate learning difficulties
